We have our own department that develops SoftOne’s systems. This is one of our greatest strengths. It means that we can fully support our customers, listen to ideas about how our systems can be developed, and actually implement these improvements. We are never just an intermediary retailer between the user and the developer.

 

We aim to be at the cutting edge of technology, user-friendliness and customer benefit. We therefore invest more than SEK 10 million in research and development every year.

 

SoftOne’s development platform is Microsoft .NET, the main development platform on the market. Thanks to our partnership with Microsoft and our membership of their Microsoft Early Adopter Program (METRO), we receive better support and earlier product news than others. This helps us in our development, and benefits our customers.

 

Our development department consists of around a dozen people in Stockholm and Gothenburg. The Scrum development methodology was introduced in 2009. This is a popular and universally recognised software development process, which has its roots in Toyota’s famous Lean principles.
